Privacy policy.

Last updated 21 April 2026 · written for the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

This page describes how Kindaroo Logistics Sdn Bhd ("Kindaroo Logistics", "we", "us") collects, holds and uses information about visitors to kindaroo.pro and about customers we move cargo for. We aim to keep this document plainspoken; if anything is unclear, write to us at [email protected].

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Kindaroo Logistics Sdn Bhd, Malaysian company registration number 202401045678 (1567824-K), with a registered office at Level 12, Tower B, Plaza Sentral, Jalan Stesen Sentral 5, KL Sentral, 50470 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

2. What we collect from you

  • Contact form submissions: name, company, email, phone, message content, time of submission and source page.
  • Shipment records: shipper and consignee details, commodity descriptions, weights and dimensions, customs values, supporting documents.
  • Website analytics: aggregated, non-identifying visitor counts and the broad route through the site, used to improve content.
  • Cookies: a small set described in our cookie policy.

3. Why we use it

Personal data we collect is used to:

  • Reply to your enquiry, draft a quote and book your shipment.
  • Meet our legal obligations as a licensed Malaysian customs broker.
  • Invoice you and keep accounting records as required under Malaysian tax law.
  • Send occasional operational notes if you have asked us to do so.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with parties needed to deliver the freight service: carriers (shipping lines, airlines, trucking partners), customs authorities (JKDM and equivalents abroad), our cargo insurers, our payment processor and our accountants. We never sell personal data and we do not pass it to advertisers.

5. Where it is stored

Operational records sit on Malaysian servers run by our shipping software vendor. Accounting records are kept on a Singapore-based platform with appropriate cross-border transfer safeguards in place.

6. How long we keep it

Shipment, customs and accounting records are kept for seven years as required by Malaysian law. Marketing contact details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Contact-form messages that don't result in a shipment are deleted after twenty-four months.

7. Your rights

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you can request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you. You can also withdraw any marketing consent at any time. Write to us at [email protected] with your request and we will respond within twenty-one days.

8. Security

We apply role-based access controls inside our systems, encrypt traffic in transit and require multi-factor authentication for all staff accounts. No system is invulnerable, but we treat your data with the level of care that licensed customs brokerage demands.

9. Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when. For substantive changes affecting existing customers, we email you the summary in plain language.
